Trade Policy & Pricing Books are accepted based on current inventory, condition, and age. Paperback book credit is issued at 25% of the publisher's list price. (We do not pay cash for books - we offer store book credit.) Books purchased from The Book Stop are welcomed back for book credit but must still be in resalable condition. Unless otherwise marked, books are sold at 50% of the publisher's list price; with a minimum price of $2.00 (some children's books are less). Book credit may be used for half of your purchase. The remaining half may be paid in cash, check or charge. Surplus book credit will be kept on file and carried over to your next visit. For the most part, we trade only in PAPERBACK books. However, we will accept hardcover books that are: New Releases (NOT out in paperback yet) Cookbooks, gardening books & craft books Children's picture & story books Hardcover book credit is based on used market prices (such as Amazon.com used books). **  Sorry, we do not trade in textbooks, computer books or audio books  ** Please ask if you should need multiple copies of a book.
